The IACUC recently revised Policy#13. The following change has been made to section A.3.
Section A.3. Operative Procedures: “Instruments undergoing bead sterilization may be used for five surgeries total before a new fully sterilized surgical instrument is required (i.e. instruments can undergo bead sterilization four times). “
