Mission
Grant Proposal Services (GPS) advances institutional research goals by providing expert, centralized pre-award support to JSSOM faculty and trainees. Our dedicated team helps secure extramural funding, reduces administrative burden, and ensures compliant submission through ongoing strategic development and process improvement. GPS offers tailored assistance with funding opportunity interpretation, proposal development, budget preparation, standardized forms, editing, figure refinement, and final packaging for submission via InfoED.
Submit a Grant
JSSOM faculty planning to submit a proposal for external funding must complete the Funding Proposal Initiation Form at least 30 days before the intended submission date of the final grant application. This will ensure that all internal review requirements and associated deadlines are met. We welcome and encourage earlier submissions to allow for a more thorough development and review of your proposal. Graduate students and postdoctoral fellows should discuss their intent to apply with their primary mentor prior to initiating any proposal development. After submission, a GPS team member will contact you to offer standardized pre-award assistance, including checklists to guide proper assembly and submission of your proposal through InfoED.
