In these cases, the “non-profit” is providing services typical of a Clinical Research Organization (CRO). The new UTMB Industry Funded Fee Policy clarifies when industry fees apply. There may be occasional circumstances in which a waiver can be requested. Please contact the Office of Clinical Research (OCR) for additional guidance.
