Supports the rapid implementation of clinical trials of novel interventions with the potential to have a significant impact on patient care in the Topic Areas of Emerging Viral Diseases and/or Respiratory Health (COVID-19).

Application: June 22, 2020 11:59 pm ET

Investigator-Initiated Research Award (for Emerging Viral Diseases and Respiratory Health)

Supports research that will make an original and important contribution to the field of research and/or patient care in the Topic Areas of Emerging Viral Diseases and/or Respiratory Health (COVID-19).

Pre-Application (Letter of Intent)*: May 28, 2020 5:00 pm ET
Application: June 12, 2020 11:59 pm ET

Technology/Therapeutic Development Award (for Emerging Viral Diseases and Respiratory Health)

Supports the translation of promising preclinical findings into clinical applications for prevention, detection, diagnosis, treatment, or quality of life in the Topic Areas of Emerging Viral Diseases and/or Respiratory Health (COVID-19).

Application: June 12, 2020 11:59 pm ET

* Remember as with all CDMRP funding a PI can submit their own pre-application documents without involvement from OSP. However, OSP must still be listed as the Business Official.
