CDMRP Pre - Announces More Upcoming Funding Opportunities

The Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs announced the four (4) upcoming funding opportunities this week.  While applications have not yet been released yet, the pre-announcement allows researchers to begin their research plan for quick turn-around deadlines.

Epilepsy Research Program (ERP)

  • Idea Development Award
  • Quality of Life Research Award
  • Research Partnership Award

Gulf War Illness Research Program (GWIRP)

  • Idea Award
  • Research Advancement Award
  • Clinical Evaluation Award
  • Therapeutic/Biomarker Trial Award
  • Patient-Provider and Health Communications Award
  • New Investigator Award

Lung Cancer Research Program (LCRP)

  • Career Development Award
  • Concept Award
  • Idea Development Award
  • Investigator-Initiated Translational Research Award
  • Clinical Translational Research Partnership Award

Multiple Sclerosis Research Program (MSRP)

  • Clinical Trial Award
  • Exploration-Hypothesis Development Award
  • Investigator-Initiated Research Award 

Descriptions of each of the anticipated funding opportunities, eligibility, key mechanism elements, and funding can be found in the Program pre-announcement.  FY20 pre-announcements can be found in the CDMRP home page features at https://cdmrp.army.mil.  Subsequent notifications will be sent when the program announcements/funding opportunities are released.
