Office Hours in the School of Nursing/Health Professions Building

Help is On The Way!
As a way to reach more people across campus, Melodi Moore, Research Services Research Development Specialist now has a remote office in the School of Nursing/Health Professions Building. Every 1st and 3rd Monday of the month, from 9 am to noon, she will be located in 3.204E, inside the School of Nursing CNRE Office Suite.

Melodi will be offering all types assistance to researchers including:
  • Finding Funding
  • Demonstrating what tools researchers have access to on campus to promote and assist with their research
  • Demonstrating UTMB Research Experts and how it can help promote your research
    • Adding activities
    • Double-checking and adding publications
    • Updating pictures
  • Assisting with misc. NIH dilemmas (i.e. SciENcv, PubMed, NCBI, Manuscript Submission
  • Liaising with the Office of Sponsored Programs when necessary

Welcome to the UTMB Research Resources Blog

Sponsored by Research Services, the blog is set up to assist the UTMB research community by disseminating information from various sources in one reliable, relatable and easy to locate place.  Users will be able to find updates from NIH, UT System and UTMB as well as special events and lectures taking place at the University, Galveston and in the area. Available funding opportunities are also included and in most cases broken down by career level for convenience and searching ease.
