Highlighted Shared Core of the Month
The CPRIT Single Core is located within the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX and is a CPRIT-funded single cell genomics and transcriptomics core facility. The core provides consults, services and training related the processing of tissues for single cell genomic and transcriptomic sequencing for cancer samples. Our users have two tracks available: (1) general core services and (2) collaborative projects. All projects receive a free consultation and review initial review starting. General users can submit samples for our different assay and receive QC and preliminary analysis. The assays include Single Cell CNV, ATAC, and RNA sequencing. Since the core is also aimed to educate users, it provides written protocols can be provided on request and other educational actives. These activities include the Texas Single Cell (TXSC) weekly seminar series (sponsored by the GCC) and Single Cell Genomics workshop. The TXSC series features talks from current single cell sequencing researching being performed at MD Anderson and across Texas. The Single Cell Genomics workshop cover both hands-on sample processing and basic analysis of single cell sequencing technologies. For more information, contact Anna K.
