Participating Institutes: National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID)
Due Date: 25-SEP-2020 through 09-MAY-2023
Purpose: The purpose of this NOSI is to communicate NIAID’s special interest in potential applications under the Biomedical Data Repository (PAR-20-089) and Knowledgebase (PAR-20-097) FOAs, focused on the establishment of new, or continued development/renewal of existing repositories and knowledgebases that are of high-value relevance to the immune-mediated and infectious disease research community.
Research Supplements to Promote Diversity in Health-Related Research (Admin Supp - Clinical Trial Not Allowed)

Due Date: Vary by Institute/Center
Purpose: Administrative supplements to enhance the diversity of the research workforce
National Institute of Nursing Research (NINR) in PA-20-135 "Emergency Competitive Revision to Existing NIH Awards (Emergency Supplement - Clinical Trial Optional")
Participating Institutes: NINR
Due Date: Varies by application
Purpose: Inform applicants that the National Institute of Nursing Research (NINR) will participate, effective immediately, in PA-20-135 "Emergency Competitive Revision to Existing NIH Awards (Emergency Supplement - Clinical Trial Optional)".
Competitive and Administrative Supplements for Community Interventions to Reduce the Impact of COVID-19 on Health Disparity and Other Vulnerable Populations
Participating Institutes: See notice
Due Date: Varies by Institute/Center
Purpose: Research is needed to test community interventions focused on the prevention (or slowing) of COVID-19 transmission, evaluate local and state policies and programs intended to mitigate COVID-19 exposure and improve adherence, and reduce the negative impact of the multifaceted consequences on the health of populations who experience health disparities and other vulnerable groups. This work may include leveraging and scaling existing resources (e.g., health education materials, technology, social media, mass media, social support networks, social services). In domains and populations in which the evidence base is limited, the development, testing, and implementation of novel or adapted interventions to address the negative health consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic (including the unintended health consequences of population-level interventions) may also be needed to address the unique needs of populations.
Digital Healthcare Interventions to Address the Secondary Health Effects Related to Social, Behavioral, and Economic Impact of COVID-19
Participating Institutes: See notice
Due Date: Varies by Institute/Center
Purpose: Support research to address secondary health effects of the social, behavioral, and economic changes, particularly among populations who experience health disparities and vulnerable populations through the use of digital health assessments and interventions to yield measurable near-term impact.
Notice of Intent to Publish a Funding Opportunity Announcement for INIA Administrative Resource (U24 Clinical Trial Not Allowed)
Purpose: Renew an initiative by publishing a Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) to solicit applications for Administrative Resources -Cooperative Agreements (U24) to provide administrative support to collaborative research projects (U01) and research resource cores (U24) as part of a Consortium on the Integrative Neuroscience Initiative on Alcoholism (INIA). The goal of INIA is to investigate brain mechanisms of excessive alcohol drinking and related phenotypes associated with alcohol use disorder (AUD).
This Notice is being provided to allow potential applicants sufficient time to develop meaningful collaborations and responsive projects.
The FOA is expected to be published in Summer/Fall 2020 with an expected application due date in Winter/Spring 2021.
This FOA will utilize the U24 activity code. Details of the planned FOA are provided in the notice
