Antimicrobial Resistance Seminar, February 11

David Andes MD, University of Wisconsin,  will kick off our 2019 Antimicrobial Resistance and Stewardship seminar series.  The seminar will take place at noon, at UTHealth, 6431 Fannin St. MSB B.500.  Once in the building, take green elevator towards the basement. No registration is required, but free box lunches will be available for the 1st 40 attendees. Keck Seminar, February 15

There will be no Keck Seminar Feb. 8. On Feb. 15 David Mayerich, University of Houston, presents Towards Large-scale Cellular-level 3D Tissue Models. Networking and refreshments will follow at 5pm, BioScience Research Collaborative, Auditorium, 6500 Main St. Seminars are free and open to the public. Upcoming seminars include Yu Shen, MD Anderson Cancer Center (2/22) and Janice Kiecolt-Glaser, Ohio State University Neurological Institute, in conjunction with the GCC Health Psychology and Behavioral Medicine Conference.
