Emergency Preparedness Research Clinics & Labs
If we have learned anything from this past year, it’s the importance of being prepared. This website contains material for you to go over and study as we prepare for hurricane season that began June 1, as well as other major emergencies.
Review the material on this site and talk to your staff and colleagues to ensure you know how to proceed in case of evacuations and shut down of clinics and labs. During your review, keep in mind COVID related policies and how they could create
unexpected problems. Hurricane preparedness would take precedent when there is a threatening storm in the Gulf. In addition, be sure to include your department’s emergency plans in your review.
Join us online here on Tuesday - June 15 at 3 p.m. as we discuss key information and updates regarding emergency preparedness. A recording of the session will be on this website if you are unable to attend.
Be informed and prepared.
