(Sponsored Programs Information Network – UTMB login) the premier funding database provided by subscription to the UTMB campus. It contains descriptions of over 40,000 local, national and international programs from 6,000 funders. Try the new SPIN Quick Search or use Advanced Search in SPIN InfoEd (UTMB login) to search on keywords, applicant type, award type, geographicic loction, sponsor, deadline date, and save your searches.   • Foundation Finder and 990 Finder - Provided by the Foundatgion Center.- Search by grantmaker name, geography or EIN number; or search by name for the latest 990 or 990PF form.
    • What will the IRS form 990 or 990PF tell you? You can find out what projects and grants were funded during a given year, who the board members are, whether the organization is a private foundation (PF), mailing address, and sometimes grant guidelines.
