Finding sponsored research funding opportunities
The Office of Sponsored Programs is dedicated to supporting investigators to search for and acquire funding for research, scholarship, creative activity and student success. The first step is identifying potential funding sources to find the most appropriate funding programs for your proposal.
Grants, Contracts, Cooperative Agreements, Sub-contracts, Purchase Orders and other types of sponsored projects.
Due to the limited number of applications allowed by some sponsors, some applications are coordinated by the Dean of Medicine’s Office or the Provost. A list of recurring limited competitions that require pre-screening has been developed. Opportunities from the Cancer Prevention & Research Institute of Texas are coordinated directly by the Office of the Provost.
